Born in Florence, Sir Richard Rogers (1933-2021) was one of the leading ‘starchitects’ with notable projects completed over 50 years, in particular as part of Team 4 with Norman Foster (1963 to 1967), and Renzo Piano (1971 to 1977) followed by the Richard Rogers Partnership.
